5 new urban design concepts for Civic Hall Site will be launched Saturday, 14th November 2015, 10am-4pm. These concepts are the direct outcome of 12 months of gathering and synthesis of feed-back obtained via the participatory community design process. You can check out the detailed information boards at your leisure. The architects will also be running free group presentations of 15-20 minutes explaining the options, at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
This will be a family friendly, outdoor exhibition, on the roof of the library carpark, corner of Armstrong & Market Sts. There will be live music, activities for kids, pART-icipation activities for all ages, food trucks and coffee vans.
From 23rd November onwards the concept boards will be displayed at the Ballarat Library and in December the boards will move to the Open Door Studio to enable conversation with the architects. Council will consider the concepts at a meeting in December.
